We are a husband and wife team that have survived Hurricane Katrina of 2005.  We lived in Mid-City, lost our home to four feet of water, bought a house on the West Bank in Algiers, and then settled in Lakeview -- in a flooded house that we renovated.  We not only own our own real estate brokerage, but we are also investors and landlords.  We have renovated over ten properties since the storm and will continue to do so.  We are familiar with all aspects of real estate from financing to construction.  We have 11 rental units (soon to be 15). In today's competitive real estate market, diversification is essential. The market is changing, and agents and investors must also change.
